For nearly 100 years, SAM LABIGNE EQUIPEMENT has been a renowned shop fitter, bringing its expertise to major national brands and leading project owners.
The company
Founded in 1926 in Normandy, the SAM LABIGNE joinery company quickly specialized in shop fitting. In 1961, it moved to Lisieux to expand the mass production of commercial furniture. Its traditional woodworking expertise was enhanced by the mastery of metal, glass and lighting integration. From 1990 onward, SAM LABIGNE EQUIPEMENT developed its expertise in furniture designed in collaboration with architects and designers. In 2012, the company relocated to its current site in Hermival-les-Vaux. Today, with its ability to industrialize commercial furnishing concepts while ensuring large-scale rollout, SAM LABIGNE EQUIPEMENT completes nearly 300 site installations per year in France and across Europe.
Know-how
SAM LABIGNE EQUIPEMENT demonstrates its know-how by translating architectural projects into technical, production-ready solutions, integrating the industrialization of fitted furniture.
Technical development is handled by its in-house design office, led by project managers with varied backgrounds (shop fitting, carpentry, industrial sheet metalwork, plastics and resin industries), allowing for a wide range of skills.
The company’s collaborative approach between agency and manufacturer ensures a high level of efficiency that is both recognized and appreciated.
The workshop operates a full range of machining, manufacturing and surface treatment tools. Materials used include wood, glass, metal, resins and stone.
Additionally, SAM LABIGNE EQUIPEMENTt partners with top professionals in France and Europe in their respective trades: sheet metalwork, locksmithing, industrial carpentry, cabinetry, lighting, upholstery, resin, glasswork, plastics, digital solutions, and more – while ensuring the integration is managed internally in its own workshops.
It is possible to incorporate sub-assemblies that account for constraints such as electricity, fluids, IT systems and safety. Moreover, the expertise includes assembly solutions optimized for storage, transport, installation and maintenance.
