The company
Originally established in Pouilly-sous-Charlieu in the Loire region in 1954, ATELIERS DE POUILLY has historically developed its expertise in wood joinery and fittings. Based in the town of Le Coteau near Roanne since 2023, the company has developed its skills to meet the full range of woodworking needs.
Entirely dedicated to production, its workshop occupies a surface area of 2,500 m², where its craftsmen work to develop prototypes and then concepts for medium-scale production.
In 2002, ATELIERS DE POUILLY joined CLUB AFIROC, a group of French companies keen to offer innovative, high-performance and reliable services in the various fields of custom fittings and furniture.
Know-how
Drawing on its unique heritage, ATELIERS DE POUILLY has set up a team of craftsmen and apprentices to produce fixtures and fittings to the highest standards. Thanks to the expertise of its 19 journeymen carpenters, the company designs prototypes and medium-sized production runs, perpetuating the know-how that has developed in the wood industry over the years. In-house manufacturing is supported by the expertise of an integrated design office, ensuring perfect coordination between design and production.
The production workshop is equipped with the latest digital tooling, enabling high-quality production. It masters a wide range of finishes (e.g., laminated, lacquer, matte or gloss), as well as the most varied materials (e.g., wood, marble, glass or metal). In addition, it can integrate special mirrors and locks, for example for jewelry or luxury boutiques.
Rigorous in-house controls are carried out at every stage of production, as well as upon receipt of subcontracted products, guaranteeing an optimum level of finish. Products are then delivered throughout France and Europe.

Since 2023, the new premises have been fitted out with a view to implementing five-stream waste sorting, optimized packaging (using cornflakes) and the recycling of materials.
A partnership has been set up with VALDELIA to collect and process furniture for recycling.
The company has made major investments in new machinery, including a more efficient automatic wood panel warehouse to facilitate handling with a robot and improve panel storage.
For greener production, ATELIERS DE POUILLY worked in partnership with THALIE to install four solar trackers. These cut energy consumption costs in half and reduced the company’s carbon footprint by using a clean energy source.
Committed to training, ATELIERS DE POUILLY has created partnerships with various local vocational high schools, taking on apprentices or hosting trainees to help them discover the carpentry trade.
